On January 10th, Infinnovate for Education at Parks Jr. High hosted Sylvia Situ, founder of Sylvie Sourdough, to inspire students with her entrepreneurial journey.
Sylvia, a mother of two, started baking healthy bread for her family, eventually launching a successful home bakery as demand increased from friends and the community.
She shared her challenges and successes in starting a food business, discussing local regulations, food safety, and marketing.

A Day in the Life of a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
On Sep 27th, Infinnovate students had the incredible opportunity to step into the world of medicine and meet Dr. Robert Cho, the esteemed Chief of Staff Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center.
A Glimpse into the World of Investment Banking
On August 30th, Infinnovate for Education students stepped into the fast-paced world of investment banking. Led by industry veteran Kenneth Kim, Managing Director at HSBC Equity Capital Markets Asia, students were put to the test in a series of rigorous mock interviews and Q&A sessions.

Earnings Call Simulation
Infinnovate students recently had the opportunity to step into the world of Wall Street during a mock earnings call simulation, led by Rich Lee, Head of BofA Global Principal Investments. They presented the financial performance of their simulated company, Fullerton Ballers, honing their communication skills and strategic thinking abilities. This hands-on experience provided them with invaluable insights into the world of finance.
The Pizza Storefront Challenge
Students created a Neapolitan Pizza Storefront concept, demonstrating their knowledge of business operations. They sourced high-quality ingredients and developed a business model that defined their unique offering and target market. Throughout the project, they identified key activities that would give them a competitive edge, from making fresh pizzas to providing excellent customer service. They also learned financial management skills, such as budgeting, revenue forecasting, and cash flow analysis. By applying these essential business skills, students brought their pizza shop idea to life and gained valuable insights into real-world business and finance.
Infinnovate for Education - Elite Academy Launch
In July 2024, Infinnovate launched its “Elite Academy” for 34 junior high students focused on business and financial literacy. Students learned key concepts like the Influence model, the Golden Circle, and Financial Management, gaining essential skills for future success.
