Fisler School Career Day Inspires Young Minds
On Friday, May 17th, Robert C. Fisler School in Fullerton, CA, hosted its annual Career Day. This year's event featured a special presentation by Infinnovate for Education, an organization dedicated to sparking creativity and innovation in young learners.
Infinnovate for Education engaged over 80 students, ranging from ages 8 to 14, with an interactive session that explored the exciting world of business and entrepreneurship. The presentation focused on age-appropriate concepts that ignited curiosity and opened students' minds to a variety of career paths.
Here's a glimpse into what the students learned:
Understanding Business Basics: Infinnovate for Education introduced students to the concept of "One Piece Flow," a method of streamlining processes for efficiency. They also delved into the "Cashflow Quadrants," a framework that differentiates between different business models, such as being an entrepreneur, self-employed, working for a big business, or becoming an investor.
Developing an Infinite Mindset: The session encouraged students to cultivate an "Infinite Mindset," emphasizing the importance of never giving up on their dreams and constantly seeking new ideas and opportunities.
Through interactive activities and engaging explanations, Infinnovate for Education made complex business concepts relatable for young minds. Students gained valuable insights into the world of work, explored different career possibilities, and discovered the importance of critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset for success in any path they choose.
